Children's Ministries

Our Lord regarded the little children as being "of such is the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matthew 19:14).  Our children are the church of tomorrow and we believe it is vital that our children be taught and prepared to become God's leaders of the future and to do it in an exciting and fun way.

According to George Barna Research [Christianity Today, July 2004], children ages 4 to 14 have the highest likelihood of accepting Jesus Christ as their Savior and that probability sharply decreases after age 14. By age 13, most kids will have firm beliefs that they will carry throughout the rest of their lives. So we have our greatest opportunity to minister to children and to shape their destiny by age 14.

We are praying and seeking God's will for our Children's Ministry.  We currently have a need for a Children's Ministry director.  If you feel led to fill this position, please contact us.

On Wednesday evenings at 6:15 we have AWANA Club meetings downstairs in the Children's Sanctuary. We have Cubbies (Pre K - age 5), Sparks (K - 2nd Grade) and T-n-T (3rd - 6th Grade).

During the summer we are planning our VBS June 6-10, 2011. The theme will be Lifeway's Big Apple Adventure.
