“How can we know the way?” This was the question on the heart of the disciples and especially Thomas. Jesus had just told them about His Father’s House and that one day they too, could go to Heaven. The one word that captured their mind was, “How?” -John 14:5

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” -John14:6 The Bible records many miracles that Jesus performed while on earth. Yet that is not the reason that He came. “The Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.” -1 John 4:14.

Dear friend, Jesus Christ is truly the Way to God. In John 3:16, God says He loves you so much that He gave His only begotten Son, that “whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

The Truth is you need God’s Way to Heaven because you are not good enough to get there on your own. The Bible tells us that everyone is guilty of sin. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23.  Not only are we all sinners, but there is a payment that must be made for our sin. “For the wages of sin is death.” -Roman 6:23

We needed a perfect substitute to take our place and pay our debt. Jesus Christ did just that when He died on the cross. “But God commendeth [demonstrated] His love toward us, in that, while we yet sinners, Christ died for us.” -Romans 5:8 Jesus bought salvation with His own blood. As a receipt that God accepted His payment, He was “declared to be the Son of God with power, by the resurrection from the dead.” -Romans 1:4 Jesus Christ was crucified, buried and rose again victorious over death, hell and the grave…just for you.

The Life that is offered in Jesus Christ is eternal, abundant and free! Romans 6:23 also says, “…the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” God offers us eternal life in Heaven if we will accept His Son, Jesus Christ, as our Savior. It’s free, we can do nothing to earn it -all we can do is accept it!

This is what you must do to receive Christ as your Savior…

1. Recognize that you are a sinner. “For there is not a just man upon the earth, that doeth good and sinneth not.” Ecclesiastes 7:20

2. Believe with all your heart that Jesus Christ died for you and rose again, just as the Bible says. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” -Romans 10:9

3. Pray and receive Christ by faith as your personal Savior. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

      Hello Ron,

Thank you for getting in touch! Our Wednesday Evening meeting is in the auditorium. We use the KJV. The study is much more in-depth than the Sunday Morning sermon. We like to call it ‘the most encouraging service of the week’ -and it is! Sunday mornings our Life Groups and Sunday School classes are more conversational as they lend themselves to small group discussion. We hope to see you soon.
